For those customers merging their cellular call records with their NET-Phacs Call Accounting records the following information will apply to their inquiries.
Currently the 3 major carriers close their billing periods at different times of the month. This means that the call records processed each month will span multiple months. They will not appear from the 1st through the 31st in the current month like your NET-Phacs calls. However, they will be co-mingled with the NET-Phacs calls, in proper Date and Time order. For a quick query, use the Tenant or Route codes listed below to locate the carriers calls quickly.
Div/Dept: the Div/Dept code is 8 digits made up of the Site Number (003, 101) and the Entity code (a 3 digit code assignable by you to further define the call records (OIG, FOA, etc)) when present otherwise it will be the Site Number again followed by ZZ.
Tenant: the Tenant field for cellular calls will indicate the month the CARRIER BILL is received. (see below table). Bills received in October will have a tenant code of CA.
Station: this is hard coded to say 'Cellular'.
Route: shows the cellular carrier for the called number.
Trunk: shows the type of call record.
When conducting a search for cellular calls you need to define the month the calls were BILLED by the cellular company.  If the calls were billed in October you place 'CA' in the TENANT field.  Now since the calls generally go back multiple months you will need to set the FROM DATE far enough back to collect all the calls, for calls billed in October you set the FROM DATE to 08/01/2013.  As you can see the calls billed in October actually go back to 8/24/2013.
If your office has more than 1 cellular carrier you can refine your search to a particular carrier by defining the carrier in the ROUTE field.
